ADVENTURE SOUTH NZ | NEW ZEALAND
  FAQ's
When is the best time to go?
For some this refers to weather, for others it means how busy it is. The weather is warmest between December and February. The trails are less busy during November and April with April’s Autumn leaves making it a fantastic time to travel.
Can I bring my own gear?
Yes you can bring your own bikes, pedals, seats, walking poles, the whole shebang.
 Will I need warm clothes?
New Zealand weather is extremely changeable so it’s important that you bring waterproof gear and plenty
of layers. Polyester, wool or nylon
is best. Avoid cotton as it holds moisture and takes a long time to dry. We provide a full gear list with all of our pre-departure information.
WHAT TIME OF YEAR DO YOUR TRIPS OPERATE?
Our trips run regularly from October to May each year. Our winter trip runs through July and September and we can run private groups outside of these months.
WHAT IF I GET TIRED OF RIDING?
The support vehicle will always be nearby with a cup of tea and coffee for anyone who has tired legs and wants a ride to the next spot.
DO YOU OFFER SELF GUIDED TRIPS?
No, but our friends at Trail Journeys do. Visit them at www.trailjourneys.co.nz
